Do we accept walk ins?

Yes. We do accept walk ins provided an artist will have free time on the day. Best thing to do is to call the studio to find out if anyone is available. Giving as much detail of the tattoo you want will help speeds up the process :)

Do we do piercings?

No. We do not sell or offer body piercing services. We focus on tattoo’s and the odd commissioned art piece only. Business listings still bunch tattoo studios and piercing parlors together as they’re commonly paired but, not us!

Does your studio require a deposit?

Yes. To book a tattoo appointment, we require a non-refundable deposit of $100.00, which is applied to your tattoo. If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment, please call 72 hours in advance or risk losing your deposit, with the exception of emergencies.

A non-refundable $25.00 fee is required for a consultation; however, if you commit to booking a tattoo appointment on the day of your consultation, the $25.00 fee will be included in your tattoo deposit amount, leaving you with a $75.00 balance due for your tattoo appointment deposit. 

Again, these deposits are non-refundable and non-negotiable. These are in place for those of you who have not yet committed to a piece/tattoo. The artists commit their time to you once you're on their schedule. If you do not show up for an appointment for which you did not leave a deposit, the artist loses time that they would have spent on a client who has paid their deposit and committed to their tattoo appointment.

Do you tattoo fingers?

No. We've been tattooing long enough to know that most people are dissatisfied with the way their finger tattoos last. Because the hands are constantly used, the skin on the hand is more prone to damage, which can remove ink from various areas of the finger over time. We offer conditional touch ups (see FAQs on touch ups), but we've had it time and again where a once happy client returns upset, blaming the studio, demanding a refund, or leaving a negative review. As a result, we no longer accept these types of tattoos. We sincerely apologize to those who understand the nature of finger tattoos and are willing to live with the outcomes. 

Do we offer free touch ups after your tattoo with us?

Yes. We provide conditional free touch-ups for up to a year after you have had a tattoo done by one of our artists here at Platinum Rose Studio & Gallery. We will not touch up your tattoo if you have clearly sabotaged the healing process by picking, scratching, or not keeping it clean, or if you have simply not taken care of the tattoo properly as per our aftercare instructions we provide in order to help you heal your tattoo the best way possible. However, we are always happy to help if a mistake was made during the healing process.

We kindly ask that you take care of your ink because we have no control over how it heals or holds up over time, especially if you are unwilling to put in the time to heal and maintain your art with sense and care.

Are service animals and children allowed in the tattoo studio?

No. Minors or registered service animals are not permitted to be present in tattooing establishments as per the health code regulations.

What will the tattoo artists not do??

This should go without saying, but tattoos that are racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise offensive are off the table for us. Non negotiable. peace, love, more tolerance!
